You must be a:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Farmer&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Horticulturalist&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forestry owner&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contractor who carries out services to farmers, horticulturalists or forestry owners&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-can-you-apply-for\"><strong>What can you apply for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Details of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/farming-equipment-and-technology-fund-fetf-2023\/annex-3-fetf-2023-productivity-and-slurry-eligible-items\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eligible productivity and slurry items<\/a> are on the DEFRA website. Decide which pieces of kit on the list best suit the outcomes you wish to achieve. For example, if you are looking to reduce your fertiliser costs, you might want to fund a slurry separator or a dribble bar to make the best us of the slurry on your farm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re undecided, contact us at Promar? Grants will be competitive and will depend on how many points you score in your application. The Rural Payments Agency will score your applications.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the scheme is oversubscribed DEFRA will allocate money based on your average scores. The higher the score the better, so it\u2019s important to submit a good-quality application.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-apply\"><strong><strong><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To prepare your application, follow this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/farming-equipment-and-technology-fund-fetf-2023\/about-the-farming-equipment-and-technology-fund-fetf-2023#how-the-grant-works\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of steps<\/a>. Then make your application online <a href=\"https:\/\/ps.fetf.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to the Rural Payments Agency<\/a>. If have everything in order before you apply, DEFRA reckons your application will only take you 20 minutes to complete.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to apply your business must be registered with the Rural Payments service and must have a Single Business Identifier (SBI).
