{"id":5506,"date":"2020-09-09T09:57:22","date_gmt":"2020-09-09T09:57:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-dev.promar-international.com\/?p=5506"},"modified":"2020-09-09T09:57:22","modified_gmt":"2020-09-09T09:57:22","slug":"last-chance-to-have-your-say-on-dairy-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www-dev.promar-international.com\/it\/last-chance-to-have-your-say-on-dairy-contracts\/","title":{"rendered":"Last chance to have your say on dairy contracts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A coalition of farming organisations and representatives is urging all dairy farmers to respond to the once in a lifetime opportunity to bring change to the sector and get involved in the government\u2019s consultation on dairy contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The landmark consultation closes this Tuesday (September 15) and presents the dairy industry with its most important conversation in a quarter of a century.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coalition made up of NFU, NFU Cymru, NFU Scotland, Ulster Farmers\u2019 Union, Holstein UK, Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, The Tenant Farmers\u2019 Association, Kite Consulting, Promar International, and the Farmers\u2019 Union of Wales, want all dairy farmers to take part \u2013 even those who are happy with their current contract terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A statement said: \u201cThis is a final opportunity for dairy farmers to really make their voices heard and shape the future of the UK dairy sector.
